Explore the conditions. Choose the right coastal & shallow-water mapping window.

Assess your coastal AOI with Copernicus Marine water-clarity indicators and indicative optical mapping depth. Use satellite or your own aerial imagery for a professional SDB or seabed classification project.

How to interpret these results

Ranking uses available Copernicus Marine Secchi depth, Kd490 and chlorophyll-a values at a subset of dates within your time window. Sentinel-2 acquisitions are optional and are never required for the ranking. A high rank does not confirm that any optical image is cloud-free, free of sunglint, or suitable for SDB. The optical depth is Secchi × your selected multiplier, not a measured maximum mappable depth. The full BlueVision workflow includes pixel-level cloud/shadow/water screening, atmospheric and water-column assessment, reference-based validation and uncertainty analysis.

Turn the screening into a verified map.

Request professional satellite-derived bathymetry, pixel-based seabed classification or both. Your project AOI and available screening results are attached automatically, so our team can prepare a tailored quotation.
